Fujichemi Corporation was established in Chuo-ku, Tokyo

On February 19, Fuji Trading Co., Ltd. started renting out about 6 tsubo rooms in Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, focusing on selling synthetic plastic materials, industrial products, etc. Mainly for large and medium electric wire companies.

Opened Osaka branch

On May 13, we opened a sales office in Osaka. At that time, a customer of the electrical materials department at the headquarters also had a factory in Osaka and this led to us selling electrical materials purchased from UNITIKA LTD., RIKEN TECHNOS Coporation, Toyo Aluminum K.K. and other wire manufacturers. widely in the Kansai area.

While many customers had established local factories in Southeast Asia at that time, FUJI CHEMI CO.,LTD. was established in Asoke, Bangkok, Thailand on September 17, due to the realization that their follow-up from the Japan Import-Export Bureau was not enough to meet customer requirements and required support locally activities.

Opened the Mito Processing Center in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture.

To meet the growing customer demand for film processing related to electronic materials, We purchased approximately 1,000 tsubo (3,305.79㎡) of land in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture and opened a processing facility for management and logistics to perform the cutting, rolling and processing of film that previously had to be outsourced.
