AVERY DENNISON MZ0097 Label
The AVERY DENNISON MZ0097 is a 50-micron Matte White PET TC/ S333/BG50Wh Imp material. This matte white polyester features a smooth top-coat with excellent ink absorption. The material is dimensionally stable, offering superior tear strength, heat resistance, and chemical resistance. It is designed for compatibility with most common printers on the market and for thermal transfer printing with the selection of appropriate specialized ribbons.
Operating Temperature: -40°C to 149°C, depending on the limits of the facestock material and actual environmental testing conditions.
Applications and Usage
This product is suitable for multipurpose applications on most surfaces requiring durability and mild chemical resistance. The excellent opacity of the facestock combined with industry-specific adhesives makes it ideal for product labeling on durable goods, such as household appliance packaging and information labels.
The product is certified under:
UL-969: For indoor and outdoor use.
CSA C22.2 No. 15 Class 7922-01 and 7924-01: For indoor and outdoor use.
Processing and Printability
The top-coated surface is compatible with most conventional printing methods—including flexo, letterpress, gravure, and screen printing—delivering high-quality results with both solvent-based and UV inks. It is also suitable for thermal transfer printing when paired with appropriate industrial ribbons.
Converting: This product can be die-cut and stripped at high speeds on most rotary presses.
Precision: Sharp, hard die-cuts (preferably on flatbed presses) are crucial to ensure a smooth conversion process.
Handling: Excessive rewinding tension should be avoided to prevent adhesive bleeding (oozing).
Dispensing: Suitable for automatic dispensing. However, use on traditional screen printing oven dryers is not recommended.
