High heat resistant polyamide film Uniamide® |
|
Unitika Ltd.’s “High Heat-Resistant Polyamide Film Uniamide®” is a new type of biaxially oriented polyamide film made from highly heat-resistant thermoplastic aromatic polyamide (PA) resin, which was previously considered difficult to form into a film.
Even after high heat treatment such as reflow, it maintains high optical transparency for both UV and visible light.
Features of Polyamide Film Uniamide®
- Heat resistance: Heat resistant up to 180-260 degrees.
- Workability: Melt processing and heat fusion are possible.
- Transparency: Has transparency comparable to that of polyester film.
- Hydrolysis resistance and chemical resistance: Excellent chemical stability derived from the polyamide structure.
- Electrical properties: As an electrical insulator, it has excellent properties, especially in the high frequency range of 1MHz or more.
Applications of polyamide film uniamide
Perovskite solar cell
Compared to conventional solar cells, perovskite solar cells are thinner, lighter and more flexible, which means they can be easily installed in places where conventional solar cells were difficult to install, and can be used anywhere, including in buildings, vehicles and mobile phones.
In addition, perovskite solar cells boast high conversion efficiency, converting sunlight into electricity more efficiently, allowing more energy to be generated in a smaller area.
